Ann-Cathrin Amshove is a qualified state-certified technical assistant for design and production technology. In summer 2024, she successfully completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree in rescue engineering at the TH Cologne. In addition to her expertise in machine and plant safety, she has extensive knowledge of operational and emergency response. She gained valuable experience in mechanical design and the control engineering design of various machines and systems through numerous internships at mechanical engineering companies during her training and studies.
In addition to her qualification as a paramedic, she also completed further training as a medical product safety officer in the healthcare sector as part of her voluntary work in disaster control.
As part of her bachelor's thesis, Ann-Cathrin focussed intensively on the topic of ‘Developing a concept for implementing basic and detailed health and safety requirements in the development process of a battery foil coating system’. She examined and optimised the entire process from risk assessment to the specification of safe software.
Since November 2023, she has been supporting Lebbing's CE Safety team of experts in the areas of verification and validation as well as risk assessments - first as a working student and now as a safety engineer.
